What does "Celiac Friendly" mean on the front label of Ultimate VEGAN FibreLean?
Celiac-friendly simply means that there is no gluten containing grain(s) used in the formulation of this product, which is beneficial for anyone trying to avoid gluten related health problems.
Does FibreLean contain wheat? The label specifies "no grains", but doesn't say wheat specifically!
No, the raw materials used in the Ultimate FibreLean product do not contain wheat.
How many calories does a scoop of FibreLean contain?
Each scoop contains 19 calories, however due to the fact that these calories are derived from fibrous carbohydrates, they really cancel themselves out as they are not absorbed as calories (the fibres will keep them in the gastrointestinal system until they are removed).
Why should I take a fibre formula?
According to the Canadian and American Heart Associations, we only consume about half the recommended amounts of fibre daily. It is estimated that an unhealthy digestive system may contribute to an estimated 90 percent of all diseases. Fibre also helps us feel full without added fat and calories. Studies have shown that 5 to 30 grams of fibre (any kind) per day can effectively reduce hunger.
Is Ultimate VEGAN FibreLean gluten free?
Yes, we do have confirmation on file that there is no gluten added and no gluten present in the FibreLean formula. However, our manufacturing facility is not a gluten free facility, and as such we are unable to confirm 100% that there is no possibility of cross contamination.
